As I stared into the cruel mirror, a pair of red shorts hanging around my thighs, the only thing I could do was cry.
How had I let this happen to myself?
Why had I not done anything sooner?
It was December of 2009, and I was at the mall with my partner, on a Christmas shopping trip.
