What I'm Leaving Behind in 2024: Lessons and Letting Go

Can you believe there are only 2 days left in the year? Time flies! What are your New Year’s Eve plans? Are you someone who loves going out and celebrating big, or do you prefer a cozy, low-key night?

Whatever you’re up to, I hope you have an amazing time filled with laughter, great company, and delicious food.

As for me, I’ll be ringing in the New Year at a friend’s house here in L.A. We’re keeping it simple with a small, intimate get-together—just the way I like it.

Now, I’m not really one for New Year’s resolutions, but I’m all about making meaningful, positive changes in my life.

As we step into a fresh year, it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect, embrace the lessons we’ve learned, and release what no longer serves us.

Whether it’s old habits, limiting beliefs, or unhealthy relationships, letting go can create space for growth, happiness, and a brighter 2025.

Here are 4 things I’m saying goodbye to as we welcome the new year.

I hope they inspire you to reflect on your own journey and consider what you might leave behind, too:

1. Self-Judgment

I’ve caught myself beating myself up for not being further along or for thinking I should’ve done things differently. But in 2025, I’m surrendering to the understanding that everything is unfolding exactly as it’s meant to. If I don’t finish a task or things don’t go as planned, that’s okay. I’m learning to trust the process and let go of the need to be so hard on myself.

2. Not Speaking Up

This one’s a biggie, especially in relationships. I’ve realized I often avoid conflict by staying quiet, trying to appease my partner, and going along with things even if they don’t align with what I truly want. That’s changing. In my next relationship, I’ll make it a priority to use my voice, communicate clearly, and honor my needs without fear.

3. Forcing Outcomes

I have a tendency to push and try to force things to happen—whether it’s a timeline, a project, or just life in general. But I know deep down that when I’m in flow, things feel easier and unfold naturally. In 2025, I’m letting go of the need to control how things look or when they happen. Instead, I’ll surrender and trust that everything will fall into place at the right time.

4. Avoidance

This one is about facing the hard stuff - whether it’s difficult conversations, uncomfortable emotions, or tasks I’d rather avoid. In the coming year, I’m committing to sitting with my emotions, leaning into the tough moments, and tackling them with courage and love.

How about you? Is there something you’ve been avoiding? Maybe it’s that little voice inside urging you to stop playing small and finally go after your dreams—the ones you’ve been quietly holding in your heart.

If your intuition is telling you that you’re meant for more—that you’re ready to create a life on your terms, make a difference in the lives of others, and enjoy an abundant lifestyle—then I have something special for you.

I’ve put together a gift package designed to help you take that first step. Inside, you’ll find an exclusive training that could be the turning point you’ve been waiting for—a resource to help you elevate your life and step into your full potential.

Go here to unwrap your gift and let me know in the comments what you think of these gifts. I’d love to hear from you!
