The first signs of autumn are approaching here in the States... the leaves are beginning to change color, people are changing their wardrobes, and restaurants are changing their menus to include more pumpkin-flavored items!
In fact, change is all around us... So, why not spend a little time reflecting on how we perceive ourselves to see how we can positively impact the world in the process?
Wayne W. Dyer said, "When you change the way you look at things... The things you look at change."
Here are 3 tips to help you do just that:
Tip #1 - Look at yourself as an outsider
It's incredibly easy to get caught up in the day-to-day race that we call life. But it's important to take a step back, and view ourselves through the same lens that we use when we look at strangers.
For many of us, we seem to find it easy to defend our actions and the choices we've made. But do all of our decisions and choices serve ourselves and the people around us, in the best way?
Try to look at your actions individually from the outside in, almost like a stranger passing through your own life. And then ask yourself from that perspective, would you do anything differently next time?
Tip #2 - Look at how you want to impact the world
It's impressive to step back and see how many incredible people are doing amazing things in the world. I've been so fortunate to be continually reminded every week by the guests on my online TV show, The Inspiration Show.
It should come as no surprise that YOU are also meant to be an inspiration to others and to have a positive impact on the planet. So, put on your 'rose colored glasses' and focus on all of the 'good', so that you naturally emit positive vibrations and thoughts out into the universe.
Tip #3 - Look at yourself to see what isn't there
Take the time to try and step outside of yourself to view your life through different eyes, so that you can uncover what might be missing. Don't be surprised if this seems difficult at first. For many of us, it's a lot easier to only focus on what's in front of us, so it's okay if nothing comes to you right away.
This is an important exercise because the ability to see what's missing is really the only way that we can know what we need to change in our lives. How can we truly embrace the law of attraction if we don't have a clear understanding of what we're after?
What's really cool is that Dr. Joe Vitale, who starred in the hit film The Secret and is a highly-sought after LOA expert, has finally decided to unveil what his 'missing LOA link' was, plus 3 simple steps for getting the LOA to work for everyone who tries it.
